why I don't Prescribe Weight Loss for... Anyone

Believe it or not, I didn’t enter this field with the intention of becoming an “anti-diet” health coach. In fact, I went to school for exercise science because I wanted to find the perfect way of eating in order to help people achieve their weight loss goals, and be the “healthiest” version of themselves.

Have we forgotten that we are designed to move? Because of the rhythm that dictates our life, sometimes it seems. And that is why many recommendations arise around exercise, but without a doubt, a very basic and recurring one is the recommendation to walk daily.

My approach is rooted in the principles of Health at Every Size™ and I am committed to honoring this size affirming approach to health. I serve people of all sizes, genders, and races, and believe whatever you’re struggling with, whether it be a medical diagnosis, physical injury, or mental illness, it’s not your fault. You'll never be asked to step on a scale, or be judged for your size, eating habits, or exercise behaviors. There's no need to have a "last supper" before scheduling your Initial Assessment or beginning a program. And you'll never be shamed for eating imperfectly or not exercising "enough" (because hey, there is such thing as perfect).

I'm not here to pathologies your existence, but instead, here to help you navigate the world bravely and with resilience.

I’m also an intuitive mover, so my programs are creative and fun meaning you will actually enjoy the challenge without feeling overwhelmed or intimidated.
